Ambulance Victoria has now taken possession of their next facility in Yarram, servicing the south Gippsland communities. The entire site spans 2000 sqm and the project scope included the buildings, car parking, curbing, carport, landscaping and other civil works.
The site began as a vacant block near the town centre, and early works included the site cut and a large slab. The walls of the building were precast which included over 70 x 2.0m dowels locking them into the slab below. This was complex work which required exceptional accuracy.
The adjoining administration building was brickwork providing staff a training facility, office spaces, sleeping quarters for 3 paramedics, two kitchens, toilets and showers. Kubale Constructions provided the entire joinery package from our in-house joinery team. This project ran smoothly and was delivered on time and on budget
