Centre Point Car Park

Kubale Constructions was contracted to complete the remodeling of the parking facilities at the Warragul Centre Point Coles.

Works on-site began with the demolition of the existing helical ramp within Warragul’s busy retail district. The project was then paused during the month of December to limit the interruptions to the Christmas trading for the retailers and recommenced in January. Work then began on the complex formwork to pour the new ramp to the upper parking level. Construction included the installation of additional ground floor structural steel to support the existing elevated concrete floor to accommodate the new 2500m² Colourbond roof on the upper level. The scope included extensive LED lighting, fire services, line marking and asphalting.

Extensive traffic management was required to facilitate the 40t cranes and concrete pump trucks on this main street. To expedite the project, Kubale Construction staff worked very early in the mornings and through many nights under electrical lighting. As a result, the project was completed three weeks early and on budget.
