Yellingbo CFA Fire Station

No items found.

The Yellingbo CFA Station was dilapidated and needed replacement and expansion. After selective demolition, new foundations were laid in preparation for the erection of steel and Colorbond building. Works included the three-bay storage for CFA vehicles and the office spaces to accommodate staff. Construction was predominantly portal steel frame with Colorbond cladding.

The scope of works included wash-down bays, equipment storage, drainage, asphalt and curbing civil works, minor landscaping and a commercial joinery package.

This was a simple project that required speed and tight financial control. The project was completed on time and on budget.

Construction Techniques Employed
